KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 27 -- Universiti Malaya (UM) Chancellor and Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, confers an Honorary Doctorate in International Relations on South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa at the UM Special Convocation Ceremony here today.

The award honours Ramaphosa as a seasoned negotiator and key anti-apartheid figure, recognising his distinguished leadership and steadfast commitment to democracy, human rights, and global diplomacy.

KUALA LUMPUR, 27 Okt -- Sultan Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, yang juga Canselor Universiti Malaya menganugerahkan Ijazah Doktor Kehormat dalam Hubungan Antarabangsa kepada Presiden Afrika Selatan Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa dianugerahkan pada Istiadat Konvokesyen Khas di Dewan Canselor UM di sini hari ini.

Anugerah itu menghormati Ramaphosa sebagai perunding berpengalaman dan tokoh anti-apartheid utama, mengiktiraf kepimpinan cemerlang beliau serta komitmen teguh terhadap demokrasi, hak asasi manusia, dan diplomasi global.
