KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 -- The Mounted Unit of the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) has been deployed around the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Park to ensure security in conjunction with the 47th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits, scheduled to be held from Oct 26 to 28 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.

The mounted unit provides greater height and mobility in crowded or open areas, making their presence a visible element of crowd control and public order.
