KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 -- The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre's (KLCC) Executive Chef Hisham Jaafar shoulders a demanding task as he and his team work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that some 5,000 people are well-fed throughout the summit.
Inside KLCC's sprawling kitchens, more than 100 chefs embark on a round-the-clock culinary marathon Ñ preparing thousands of dishes daily, from pre-dawn until late at night.
From Sunday to Tuesday (Oct 26Ð28), their mission remains clear: to nourish the delegates of the 47th ASEAN Summit without ever compromising on taste, quality, or food safety.
