KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 16 -- World Bank Lead Energy Specialist Yussuf Uwamahoro speaks during a parallel session titled "Accelerating Renewable Energy Deployment through Gender-Responsive Policy" at the ASEAN Energy Business Forum (AEBF) here, today.

Experts said a gender-responsive renewable energy policy in ASEAN should prioritise people's livelihoods, particularly women who sustain households, microenterprises, and community services, as the region transitions towards clean energy.
