KUALA LUMPUR, July 7 -- The Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Commission (SEANWFZ ExCom) convenes here today, marking the start of vital preparatory work ahead of the 58th ASEAN Foreign Ministers' Meeting (AMM) and related meetings scheduled from July 8 to 11.

The one-hour session, chaired by Foreign Ministry Secretary-General Datuk Seri Amran Mohamed Zin focus on the Committee reviewed progress on implementing the Treaty's Plan of Action.
