KUALA LUMPUR, 24 Mei -- Ketua Jurumasak Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur (KLCC) Chef Hisham Jaafar, 52, memeriksa suhu daging di stesen hidangan utama di dapur KLCC.

Di sebalik kehangatan perbincangan diplomatik dalam Sidang Kemuncak ASEAN ke-46, terselit satu lagi tugas mencabar Malaysia yang perlu disempurnakan. Bezanya bukan di meja rundingan tetapi di dapur pusat konvensyen ternama itu.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 -- Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)'s executive chef, Chef Hisham Jaafar, 52, checks the temperature of the meat at the main course station in the KLCC kitchen.

Behind the warmth of diplomatic pleasantries at the 46th ASEAN Summit lies another, less visible yet equally critical mission. The real heat, however, isn't at the negotiating table, it's in the kitchen of the KLCC.
