KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 -- The official flag of the 46th ASEAN Summit was raised at the venue where Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim will welcome all heads of state attending the 46th ASEAN Summit, the 2nd ASEAN-GCC Summit, and the ASEAN-GCC-China Summit, against the backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers today.

As the ASEAN Chair for 2025, Malaysia plays a leading role in shaping a regional agenda that is inclusive, sustainable, and competitive. The summit is expected to serve as a key platform for leaders to discuss a wide range of critical issues spanning political, security, economic, and socio-cultural fields.
