KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 – Security around the main access route to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has been significantly heightened as the city prepares to host the ASEAN Summit on May 26.
Since early this morning, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have enforced strict security measures to ensure the safety of the event and its distinguished guests.
The summit will bring together ASEAN heads of state, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim set to personally welcome each leader at the prestigious venue, set against the striking backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers.
