KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 – Security around the main access route to the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has been significantly tightened as the city prepares to host the ASEAN Summit on May 26.
Since early this morning, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) have implemented strict security measures to safeguard the event and its distinguished guests.
The summit will gather ASEAN heads of state, with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim set to personally welcome each leader at the iconic venue, set against the striking backdrop of the Petronas Twin Towers.
