KUALA LUMPUR, May 23 -- A variety of tools and forest produce from the Orang Asli community were showcased at the Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) booth in conjunction with the 46th ASEAN Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) here, today.

The indigenous culture of Malaysia's Orang Asli community is being brought to the ASEAN stage and introduced to a wider audience, including among ASEAN member states, in an effort to preserve and promote the community's cultural identity and heritage.
