KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Mei -- Anggota keselamatan mula mengawal di perkarangan Pusat Konvensyen Kuala Lumpur sempena Sidang Kemuncak ASEAN yang akan berlangsung pada 26 hingga 28 Mei ini.

Menteri Kementrian Dalam Negeri (KDN) Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, berkata seramai 7,227 anggota Polis digerakkan bagi memastikan kelancaran acara, selain lebih 2,000 pegawai Imigresen ditempatkan di pintu masuk utama seluruh negara.

KUALA LUMPUR, May 21 -- Police have enhanced security measures around the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in preparation for the 46th ASEAN Summit, scheduled to take place from May 26 to 28.

Minister of Home Affairs, Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, announced that 7,227 police officers will be deployed to ensure the event runs smoothly and safely.

In addition, more than 2,000 immigration officers will be stationed at the country's key entry points to tighten border control and support overall security efforts.
